Hi! My name is Jeffrey. I’m excited to be a part of the team at B’well and connect with you.
I’m glad you’re here. Perhaps you’re dealing with the stress of life or carrying a lot on your shoulders. You don’t have to go through that alone. Holding a calm space without judgment, my goal is to help you navigate through challenges with less of a toll on yourself. I believe that collaboration with clients is the key to making positive changes. We will work together to determine your goals and to help you reduce the impact of exhausting internal experiences.
I’ve worked with a wide range of people in terms of age, gender, ethnicity, and challenges they have faced. I have extensive experience working with eating disorders and substance use in higher levels of care. I approach eating disorder work with the understanding that food is a reflection of lived experiences. Disordered eating patterns can come about as survival strategies in response to stress, expectations, trauma, or a need for safety or control. I also provide support for those who struggle with anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns.
Our time together will be rooted in the foundation of exploring the relationship among thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. We will look to identify unhelpful patterns together without judgment. We’ll explore solutions by using your strengths to lessen the load you carry day-to-day. Combining strengths with compassion, flexibility, directness, and humor, according to your preferences, we’ll find the balance between structure and your personal needs.
I would be glad to work with you if 1) anything here speaks to you, 2) you’re tired of carrying the load by yourself, or 3) you’re looking for an eating disorder therapist.
