Accepting New Clients!

Justin’s approach to therapy is active, engaging, and collaborative. He supports individuals and couples through challenges related to self-worth, meaning and purpose, grief and loss, relationships, and major life transitions. Justin understands change to happen through connection with others, and sees the therapeutic relationship as an opportunity to model growth through connection. As an integrative therapist, Justin explores different clinical interventions for clients based on their learning, relationship, and cognitive styles. He helps clients navigate the connections between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to foster meaningful change and live a more values-driven life.

Justin’s clinical work is influenced by his lived and professional experience. His years of athletic coaching now informs his work as a therapist with issues common among athletes, performers, and people working in high-stress environments. Having facilitated men’s groups, he particularly enjoys helping individuals better understand, and develop, a healthy masculinity. With couples, Justin’s work helps to break negative conflict patterns, rebuild physical and emotional intimacy, navigate infidelity, and nurture the relationship through life’s transitions.

Justin's Experience & Background

DDM_Bwell-Sept26-4.jpg
Justin is currently enrolled in the clinical mental health counseling masters program at The College of New Jersey, expected to graduate in August of 2027. His path to the counseling profession was influenced by a decade of coaching individual athletes and teams at every level of competition, along with his experience facilitating men’s groups.

Justin also brings with him valuable professional experience from a 10-year career in photo and video production. From this, he refined his ability to understand client needs, identify goals, and communicate effectively. Using his own non-traditional path to the counseling profession as an example, Justin believes strongly in each individual’s ability to embrace uncertainty as a driver of change and growth.
