Showing Kindness With B'well's Therapists

October 8th marked Good Deed Day, an initiative led by the University of Maryland to get others to show kindness by doing a good deed. Some of our therapists here at B'well Counseling Services shared their favorite ways to show kindness.

Jake Jackson-Wolf, LCPC and owner of B'well, always has time to offer "unnecessary" niceness with words of compliment and encouragement to anyone he meets.

Dina Wientge, LCSW-C, doesn't believe kindness needs to be a grand gesture, but can be found in the small and meaningful things like gratitude and active listening.

Nia Jones, LCPC, loves to provide a caffeinated jolt of kindness by buying a stranger a cup of coffee.

Alex Persons, LCPC, keys into the safety and connection he recognizes everyone is looking for and aims for his kindness to affect people in the way they most need in that moment.

Nikki Wieman, LGPC, keeps track of the little details, whether it's a favorite yogurt or something otherwise, so she can exercise kindness in the individual ways it matters.

What are the ways you like to show kindness to those around you?

At B'well Counseling Services, our therapists value safety, connection, and the small things (that aren't really that small). If you or someone you know is needing a little of that, reach out today!
