About
meet Jake Jackson-Wolf
Jake's path to business ownership is one of circumstance. It's a story of being in the right place, with the right people, at the right time. Couple that with determination to chart his own course for his career so that he can have a job that works around his life...instead of the other way around.
In 2019, just a few months before the pandemic broke out, Jake sent an email to B'well founder Katie Cashin. He said:
Dear Katie,
Are you hiring? I'd love to come work for you.
Thanks,
Jake
Her response: "I'm not sure, but let's chat."

The rest as they say is history. After several successful years of working together, Katie and Jake partnered in B'well with the vision of growing and changing the practice to allow Katie to exit and pursue other opportunities.
​
The result has been marked. A practice of 5 has grown into a thriving group of 10. Insurance reimbursements are in the rear view mirror and private full fee caseloads are a reality for the whole team. Quadrupling our space and acquiring a more than 100 year old Victorian home as our office meant B'well can be rooted in place in our community.
​
Jake learned that as much as his professional identity will always be rooted in being a psychotherapist (a role he has not and will not give up!) he is equally passionate about providing high quality jobs for therapists and a business model that reflects those values.
​
With experience in non-profits, private practice, the world of real estate, and even a stint as an oyster farmer, Jake has the varied and unique experience to approach this work with a keen sense of business savvy and the values driven approach of a therapist.
