In this online workshop, clinicians will learn about the origins of & significant contributions to the treatment planning process from the early twentieth century to present day.
B'well's owner & clinical supervisor, Katie Cashin, LCPC, will outline how treatment planning impacts and is impacted by other aspects of clinical documentation and how the treatment planning process can support & enhance the therapeutic alliance. Participants will learn the elements of a “growth-oriented” treatment planning model and will be given the opportunity to practice building a growth-oriented treatment plan based on example cases presented.
After completion of this course, attendees will be able to...
Identify guidelines and regulations (including APA & COMAR’s) for treatment planning
Identify how treatment planning impacts and is impacted by other clinical documentation processes
Identify at least two (2) ways effective treatment planning supports the therapeutic relationship
Describe at least two (2) aspects of “growth-oriented” treatment planning
Discuss & practice conceptualization of a “growth-oriented” treatment plan
