In this online workshop, clinicians will learn about the origins of & significant contributions to the treatment planning process from the early twentieth century to present day.


B'well's owner & clinical supervisor, Katie Cashin, LCPC, will outline how treatment planning impacts and is impacted by other aspects of clinical documentation and how the treatment planning process can support & enhance the therapeutic alliance. Participants will learn the elements of a “growth-oriented” treatment planning model and will be given the opportunity to practice building a growth-oriented treatment plan based on example cases presented.


After completion of this course, attendees will be able to...


  • Identify guidelines and regulations (including APA & COMAR’s) for treatment planning

  • Identify how treatment planning impacts and is impacted by other clinical documentation processes

  • Identify at least two (2) ways effective treatment planning supports the therapeutic relationship

  • Describe at least two (2) aspects of “growth-oriented”  treatment planning

  • Discuss & practice conceptualization of a “growth-oriented” treatment plan
